The Tourangeaux were surprised at the end of the match, Saturday at the Fernand-Sastre stadium, against the leader from Fleury.

The premises stood out from the 10e minute by Younes Araibat, forcing El Hamine, the Touraine goalkeeper, to intervene. His teammates reacted immediately with a shot from Quartier but Prodanovic, the Fleury goalkeeper, diverted.

The locals were quicker in this first period. Bendie was unable to complete the one-two with Boussouri (18e), while El Hamine won once again ahead of Younes Araibat (21e). The visitors relied on the set piece but Le Fessant, alone at the far post, saw his header go wide (23e).

The premises find the opening at 86e

At the 32e minute, the locals claimed the opener when the ball flirted with the line after a recovery by Younes Araibat from a corner, but the referee considered that the ball had not crossed the line.

Returning from the locker room, the Tourangeaux took the match into their own hands. But this domination remained sterile. Aside from an opportunity for Dhiakhaby, who saw the ball taken away from him at the last minute when he was ready to head at close range (46e), the Portuguese from Tours had difficulty being dangerous.

On the other hand, the locals obtained a free kick and on this one, Bendie opened the score with a header (1-0, 86e). In stoppage time, El Hamine preserved his partners' chances of equalizing by releasing Hamady Kane's attempt, in vain.

Yoann Herbst (ACP Tours coach): “It’s a disappointment. The draw would have been more deserved. It's frustrating to concede yet another goal from a set piece. It’s at least the seventh since the start of the season.”
