Culture Trois-Rivières officially launches the call for applications for the 31st Trois-Rivières Cultural Grands Prix which support excellence and creativity in the community.

This annual celebration rewards the projects of creators in the Trois-Rivières artistic sphere, but also cultural initiatives from schools and the business sector.

Artists, organizations, speakers have until Sunday March 2, 2025 at midnight to submit their application for one of the following ten disciplinary prizes:

  • Godro Relevant Prize
  • Media Arts Prize
  • Gérald-Godin Literature Prize
  • Benjamin-Sulte Heritage Prize
  • Stelio-Sole Visual Arts Prize
  • Louis-Philippe-Poisson Creation Prize in Performing Arts and
  • Education-Culture Initiative Award
  • Citizenship and Cultural Vitality Prize
  • Arts-Business Prize
  • Trois-Rivières Without Borders Prize

Two other prizes will also be awarded during the gala, the Jury’s Favorite and the Grand Prix de la Culture. Scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to winners in each category, with the exception of the Arts-affaires Prize for which the recipient will receive a work by an artist from Trois-Rivières.

The finalists for the ten disciplinary prizes will be known approximately one month before the presentation of the Trois-Rivières Cultural Grands Prizes. The gala will take place in June, by invitation, in a 5 to 7 format.

In addition to helping Trois-Rivières artists and organizations in their development, this awards ceremony reinforces the feeling of belonging and pride throughout the cultural community.

Over the years, more than 200 artists, cultural and community organizations and nearly 25 private companies have been recognized.
