With the world's attention focused on Washington and the US elections, Ukrainians fear that Moscow will take advantage of this moment to accelerate its drive to destroy Ukraine. In recent weeks, air attacks have increased against the country, particularly by drones.

This has become daily life for Ukrainians since the fall: in October, the sound of kamikaze drones resounded almost every day above theUkraine. And these attacks continue, like this Saturday morning in the country's capital, reports our correspondent in kyiv, Emmanuelle Chaze.
These drones are launched by the dozen by the Russiaparticularly against kyiv, and these attacks are of unprecedented scale. In October alone, more than 2,000 drones were launched by Russia, almost a third of what Moscow has deployed against Ukraine since the start of the year.
A majority of these drones are intercepted or lost, leaving human and material damage caused by those that reach their targets or by their debris. As winter approaches, Moscow appears determined to completely destroy Ukraine's energy infrastructure, thereby crippling the country. In kyiv, we are worried about the strikes which could herald even more severe ones.
