The events took place on the night of Thursday October 31 to Friday November 1 in Saint-Péray in Ardèche.

There were hundreds of people, around 800, present this Thursday, October 31 for the Halloween evening at Seven, a nightclub in Saint-Péray in Ardèche, very close to (Drôme).

A “night of horror” which will end in tragedy around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the nightclub, when a man dressed all in black and wearing a balaclava opened fire on people, reports Le Figaro quoting Bleu.

A 22-year-old young man was shot in the head and transported in absolute emergency by firefighters to the Valence hospital center, with a life-threatening prognosis, according to a police source. A young woman of 24 years old was hit in the leg while another man, also 22 years old, was more lightly injured by receiving bullet fragments. A 9 mm caliber bullet impact was also noted on a vehicle.

At the time the shooting broke out, there were several people waiting to enter the nightclub and who witnessed the scene, like Romain, who saw the seriously injured young man collapse one meter from him. . “Everyone got on the ground, and started crawling,” or running towards the entrance of the nightclub, where the Halloween evening continued normally, he tells Dauphiné Libéré.

During the emergency intervention and the security of the premises by the police, the participants in this Halloween evening remained confined in the nightclub, before being gradually evacuated.

According to the first elements of the investigation, this shooting is linked to drug trafficking. For the moment, there have been no arrests.
