Ranking Qualifications Sprint Brazilian Grand Prix 2024

The twenty-first round of the 2024 Formula 1 season takes place this weekend in Brazil, on the Interlagos circuit. After a free practice session dominated by Lando Norris, the twenty drivers compete on Friday evening in qualifying for the sprint race, which will take place this Saturday. Find the classification of these sprint qualifications for the 2024 Brazilian GP.

On the Interlagos circuit, there were the McLarens and the others. Dominant, the single-seaters will occupy the front row during Saturday's sprint race in Formula 1, after dominating the sprint qualifying this Friday evening. Pole position will go to Oscar Piastri who beat his teammate Lando Norris, best time in free practice and the Australian in Q1 and Q2.

On the grid, the McLarens will be ahead of the Ferraris, who will start 3rd and 5th, and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen (4th). The leader in the drivers' standings saves the honor of his team after another poor performance from Sergio Perez, eliminated in Q2 (13th). His place seems more in danger than ever, especially since young Liam Lawson entered Q3 at the wheel of his Racing Bulls (9th).

On the French side, mixed fortunes for Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon. The first slipped to Q3 and will start in 7th position, while the second came out in Q1 and will start 18th.

The words “Minnesota Miracle” and “No-Call” are erased from my vocabulary. My heart mourns the retirement of Drew Brees.
