Made official on the very day of the 2024 Ballon d’Or award, Real Madrid and Seleção star Vinicius Jr adds a new string to his bow by becoming the ambassador of Will Bank, a rapidly expanding Brazilian digital bank .
Created in 2017, Will Bank already has 8 million customers in Brazil and has considerable ambitions for 2025. With a turnover of 2.8 billion reais in 2023, the establishment has established itself as the digital bank knowing the fastest growing credit card market, according to CardMonitor.
Vinicius Junior adds Will Bank to his sponsors
The arrival of Vinicius Jr as ambassador marks a turning point in Will Bank’s development strategy, particularly since the takeover by Banco Master. Daniel Vorcaro, president of Banco Master, sees in this partnership “an important first step” to extend the influence of the bank, until now mainly active in the North-East of the country.
The campaign, orchestrated by 94 Marketing & Football and Monkey-Land, is based around the slogan “One of the greatest players in the world has joined the bank”. Felipe Félix, CEO of Will Bank, highlights the symbiosis between the two parties: “ Vini Jr and Will have one thing in common: they never stop growing”. An association which should allow the bank to strengthen its position in the Latin American financial landscape.
