The Stade Olympique Millavois (SOM) Rugby (Aveyron) is mobilizing to support the family of Loïc Keita, who tragically died in a road accident on October 26. The 21-year-old was traveling to Monaco to play a match with the reserve team when the tragedy occurred.

Faced with this loss, the Fédérale 2 club in decided to join forces with an online prize pool launched on the Leetchi platform. This initiative aims to provide financial support to Loïc Keita's partner and their young child.

The disappearance of Loïc Keita deeply affected the rugby community of Millau and also sparked controversy. Laurent Tabutin, president of SOM Rugby, pointed out the responsibility of the rugby authorities for having maintained the match in which Loïc Keita was to participate despite the dangerous weather conditions announced:
