Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro at the best price?

A beautiful, well-calibrated screen

It is true that the Poco X6 Pro strongly resembles its predecessor, the Poco X5 Pro. This is not necessarily a bad point, especially since we benefit here from rather premium finishes, with thin borders, a fairly discreet central punch, a refined and slightly curved back and flat plastic edges with a metallic effect, which are also reminiscent of those of the latest iPhones. However, expect to have a few fingerprints on the plastic back, but at least this material makes the smartphone lighter, which therefore only weighs 186 g. A definite advantage for handling.

The Poco It also offers a range of good color shades as well as more than adequate brightness. Moreover, thanks to HDR10+ support, the smartphone gives us excellent rendering on series and video games. On the software side, HyperOS offers an efficient and fluid daily experience, but we could do without the gaggle of pre-installed applications due to various partnerships…

Cheap, but perfect for gaming

And in terms of performance, then? It’s simple: the Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro excels. Equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip engraved in 4 nm and supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM on this model, the smartphone is very fluid and does not tolerate any slowdown. In terms of gaming, the Poco X6 Pro does wonders for its price: during our test, we were able to play Fortnite at 55-60 fps in maximum graphics quality mode. Some very slight lags may occur with high detail mode on certain titles, but overall, for this price, the smartphone is very pleasant.

The photo part is less glorious, with a 64 Mpx wide-angle sensor, an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle and a 2 Mpx macro module. The captured shots are quite smooth and unfortunately lack detail. Finally, on the autonomy side, the Xiaomi Poco With use without extravagance, the smartphone lasts a good day.
