In Pont-l’Abbé, a second intergenerational festive day Sunday June 2

For the second year in a row, the Pont-l’Abbé municipal youth council, supported by elected officials, youth leaders and associations in the town, is organizing an intergenerational festive day. It will take place on Sunday June 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the Tréouguy site (near the Faucher sports complex). The eighteen young Pont-l’Abbistes, from CM1 to 5th, who make up the council installed last November, were keen to put this event back on their agenda. “It’s a day where we welcome families and people of all ages to have fun and have a good time together,” summarizes young Camille, a CM1 student. There are plenty of free games and also food but there is a charge! »

Surprise choreography and inclusive games

During this day, we will find board games, a Werewolf tournament, the oversized games of the MPT, Mölkky with the Sun va baz association, and an inflatable structure. A relay race will also be organized, as well as a quiz hosted by the young elected officials. Two inclusive games will also be offered: boccia, a ball sport related to pétanque, played by people with disabilities, and torball, a type of football for visually impaired athletes, which is played lying down.

Finally, the young organizers have worked on a choreography that they are impatient to unveil to the public.

Lunch (merguez, sausages, fries, kouigns) and snack (offered to under 14s) will be provided by the Pont-l’Abbé entertainment committee (CAP).
