The Italian premium subsidiary of Stellantis, Lancia, is trying to return to the city car market with its Ypsilon and its assumed premium positioning. The proof is the luxurious presentation and finish of this Ypsilon and its prices which start at 24,500 euros including tax. This entry ticket is valid for the 3-cyl. 1.2 MHEV 48 V turbo-petrol with 100 hp (103 g of CO2) and eDCT6 automatic gearbox, a unit common to the Peugeot 208 or the Opel Corsa of the same metal.

On the other hand, you will have to pay 3,000 euros more including tax for the higher LX finishing level, still in 100 hp MHEV gasoline. With this same engine, the Cassina finish, named after the famous Milanese furniture designer, costs 28,000 euros including tax.

In electric terms, the price of Lancia Ypsilon Cassina is close to 40,000 euros including tax

But it is in electric that this Lancia Ypsilon makes its prices jump. This engine is available in 156 hp and with a 51 kWh battery (403 km WLTP range), again reminiscent of the Peugeot 208. The basic finish of this electric Lancia Ypsilon starts at 34,800 euros including tax. The LX finish follows at 37,800 euros including tax, therefore electric. But it’s the electric Lancia Ypsilon Cassina that crowns it all, at 39,500 euros including tax.

Finally, note that Lancia France does not specify the actual dates of the first deliveries to customers in France.
