Horse riding. Quinté+ day in Hoerdt this Wednesday, May 29

This year, the Quinté+ race, the BFM Alsace prize, returns to its usual time of 1:55 p.m. As in previous years, participants, aged 4 and over, will compete over the long distance of 3,000 m. Equidia’s cameras will produce images of the Hoerdt racecourse throughout the afternoon and Quinté + will, as usual, also be broadcast live on RMC Découverte. Internationally renowned jockeys will once again be present on the site, the Quinté + race always being popular and a large audience will come to encourage the stars of the different events, horses and jockeys.

But this day will not be limited to this main race.

Seven other events (five flat races, one hurdle and a steeplechase) of very good level will follow one another during the day. The meeting will begin at noon with the Prix Kléber, a hurdle race for horses aged 3 years over 3,300 m. Then will follow four flat events: the GDR group prize – the auto repairer, a claiming race (horses are for sale) for 4 years and over over 1,400 m, the Traiteur Chez Soi prize, a handicap for 3 year olds also over 1,400 m, then the BFM Alsace prize, the Quinté + of the day, a handicap over 3,000 m, with €53,000, followed by the Nathanaelle Artu prize for 4 years and over over 2,000 m.

After today’s steeplechase, the Yamaha eBike prize for ages 5 and over over 4,200 m, which promises a great fight for victory, two other flat events will conclude this afternoon at the Hoerdt oval: the Maxi Flash prize will see 3-year-old competitors compete over 2,350 m and in the Ville de Strasbourg prize the second peloton of the Quinté +, which has been divided into two events, will compete for victory under the same conditions as the Quinté+, that is to say over 3,000 m by horses aged 4 years and over.

Take the Strasbourg-Paris motorway, exit Hoerdt, then follow the signs. Entrance: €5 (free for under 18s). Base stake: €2. Free parking. Possibility of also betting on the Caen and Dieppe races this afternoon.
