Cajarc. Quite a story: a day for children aged 0 to 6

Saturday June 1st will take place at the Françoise-Sagan space in Cajarc, a day of activities for children aged 0 to 6 years. The morning will be dedicated to 0-3 year olds and the afternoon to those over 3 years old.

You are invited to come and experience the selection of twelve albums in a fun way. Using giant sets created by the children and a group of volunteers, you will be brought into the special atmosphere of each book. You can participate in sensory games by experimenting with the wind, explore trails, listen to readings from children and adults. You will be able to participate in the election of favorite albums, attend shows and many other surprises. This event remains open to young and old who would like to visit or participate.

At 5 p.m., the La Petite Bohème company will present its show “Souris 7”, based on “7 Histoires de Souris” by Arnold Lobel. Show from 3 years old (duration 30 minutes), the price is free. Registration recommended on 07 67 12 12 06.

This day finalizes a project started in October 2023, which is entitled: “A whole story”. It aims to raise awareness among families and early childhood professionals about books and reading. This first edition is supported by the LoCollective, with the support of the Cajarc schools, the MAGCP, the media library, the early childhood relay of the CIAS, without forgetting the volunteers. Julie Rouelle, family facilitator at the LoCollective association and project coordinator, explains: “To begin with, the actors identified are concentrated in the town of Cajarc. If the project continues next year, it would be interesting to open it up to others. other municipalities in the territory.”

The LoCollective association will soon be looking for volunteers to read aloud to different audiences (young and older). So, if you are interested, do not hesitate to contact them on 05 65 10 85 41 or 07 67 12 12 06.
