22 dancers from Lislo were selected for the final of the European competition in Italy next November.

During the regional dance competition which took place in Bruguières in February 2024, the Lisloise dance school Fabrique Corps & Graphique presented its talented dancers. This artistic event was also the occasion for a first participation for the preparatory jazz group, made up of 7 dancers aged 10 years old. The passages from Fabrique Corps & Graphique having obtained a first prize during these selections were lucky enough to be able to compete in the final in Lyon. 22 dancers brilliantly distinguished themselves. The group “Rubik’s Cube”, made up of dancers aged 11 to 13, stood out for their work and their group cohesion by winning a very nice first prize and a favorite of the jury.

Rare decoration

As for the group “Sortir du cadre”, carried by dancers aged 14/15, it was crowned with a 1st prize with the congratulations of the jury, as well as the jury’s favorite, which constitutes a rare decoration. These awards mark the result of regular and committed work, carried out with their teacher Emilie Saintlos.

These distinctions are all the more gratifying as the level was largely there during these 4 days of intensive dance which brought together more than 4,000 talents from all over France and Overseas Territories. All of these dancers will compete in the European final in Rome on November 1, 2 and 3.

Talents

In addition, four dancers also distinguished themselves in individual jazz and contemporary, including two who were also selected to compete in the European competition. Lisa Marmouyet and Lucie Caterina won a nice 2nd prize. Ivana Saint-Martin, who arrived at the foot of the podium during the previous edition of the European competition in Tarragona, will be able to try her luck again this year thanks to her unanimous 1st prize and her favorite of the jury. Anaëlle Villemain, unanimously awarded first prize, will be able to live this experience for the first time. All these talents will be present for their annual show June 29 and 30 at the TEMPO theater in Léguevin.
