Pro League: here is the program for the 11th day, with a Walloon derby which promises to be hot

After the international break, the Belgian championship resumes. On to the 11th day with two derbies on the program.

From Friday and after the international break, the Jupiler Pro League resumes its rights with the eleventh day of competition. Beerschot, bottom of the standings, will open the ball on Friday evening (8:45 p.m.) at Kiel against Anderlecht, while on Saturday evening, eyes will be fixed on the clash between Union Saint-Gilloise and La Gantoise.

David Hubert will take charge in his very first match as Anderlecht’s new head coach. The 36-year-old from Brussels, appointed permanently after a few weeks as an interim, hopes to continue his good run started before the break (5 out of 9 in the league but 6 out of 6 in the Europa League), while Beerschot will try to react to achieve a first victory this season.

Saturday afternoon (4:00 p.m.) in Westerlo, Club Bruges will look to secure before preparing for their third league phase match of the Champions League, scheduled for Tuesday against AC Milan. Then (6:15 p.m.), Cercle will seek to return to victory against Dender at the Jan Breydel stadium. Union Saint-Gilloise, currently tenth in the standings (14 points), will host Gantoise, third (17 points), at 8:45 p.m. at Duden Park.

Sunday afternoon (1:30 p.m.), Genk, leader of the competition, offers a Limburg derby against Sint-Truiden at the Cegeka Arena. Racing suffered its second defeat of the season on matchday 10 in Kortrijk, while Sint-Truiden remains undefeated under Felice Mazzu.

Antwerp will try to secure a fifth consecutive victory at 4:00 p.m. on the Oud-Heverlee Louvain field, while Standard and Charleroi will face each other at 6:30 p.m. in a still hot Walloon clash in Sclessin. Finally, Mechelen and Kortrijk will close this eleventh day at 7:15 p.m.
