Canal Grand Raid, the Canal+ Réunion events channel, is back for a sixteenth edition from October 17 to 20.

Canal Grand Raid invites you to follow the main race as close as possible to the leaders, for men and women. “On-board runners”, outside of competition and equipped with live broadcasting devices, will follow them throughout the course. A helicopter and field teams distributed along the trails will also allow you to experience all the highlights of this 32nd Diagonale des Fous.

The event chain will also be present at the departures and arrivals of the Trail de Bourbon and La Mascareignes. The Bourbon Trail is a 109 km event, including nearly 6,260 meters of elevation gain. The Mascareignes is the shortest race organized as part of this Grand Raid 2022, with still 72 km and 3880 meters of elevation gain to climb.

This year, the channel will offer a brand new system with a traveling set including the presenter, a consultant and the possibility of welcoming a guest.

But also, a “Speak Cabin” which also includes a presenter and a consultant, among them we find: Ugo Ferrari, Yoann Jadaud and Alexis Rosset. And finally, a JRI pair with a journalist and a camera operator
