Joey Starr cash. In an interview given to Tribune this Sunday, May 19, the 56-year-old actor, who makes his return to the series Replacing on TF1 on Monday May 27, remained true to himself and made some rare confidences about his children and his relationship with alcohol and drugs. In addition to his career as an actor and singer, JoeyStarr is the happy father of three children: Matis and Khalil, born from his union with his ex-partner Leïla Dixmier, and Marcello, whom he had with a certain Irène, who has always been very discreet. The father of three told Tribune that he has always been very frank with his children, particularly with the oldest, Matis, aged 18, about his consumption of alcohol and drugs. “I have an 18-year-old son who knows that I drink, that I do drugs. And at the same time, I raised them saying, ‘I changed your diapers, you’re going to change mine.’

When the journalist asked him “Why are you drinking?” the father replied: “To turn off my hyperactivity.” However, he has not hidden the risks he runs. “I’m lucky today that I don’t have any health problems, but I’m aware that with age I sometimes feel like my body is sounding the alarm. Every three days I take my bike to take a ride around Paris with an electric belt. And when the weather isn’t nice, I go rowing.”

Unlike the person who raised me [son père violent], I’m on a triple sentence, I tell myself that I have it for a lifetime. Today I know why I work seven days a week.”, he continued. He also explained to the journalist that he “tries to convey to them a message: the contemporary is not gentle and the times are grating.”
