For several weeks, pedestrianization work has been completed in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Pedestrians can stroll through these new streets in the city center.

The City of Nancy has chosen to celebrate this new pedestrian pathwith traders, Saturday May 25. Here is the program of proposed activities.

Street games and shows on the pedestrian path

Throughout the day, artists will stroll through the new pedestrian streets. Several shows will be offered :

  • Cie Rêveurcibles Maxillaire et Guibole: at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the corner of rue Saint-Nicolas and rue des Tiercelins.
  • OSE Cabaret Incognito: from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. (rue du Pont-Mouja), from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (rue des Dominicains) from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. (rue Gambetta).
  • Cie Afozic Les Délicates et l’Homme pistil: from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. (rue Gambetta), from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (rue des Dominicains) and from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (rue du Pont-Mouja).
  • The Mobile Cultural Stage in front of the Tourist Office: Tubatomix from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Cotchei and Woodsdad from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Jean David Harmony from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

From 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., activities are planned for children in the garden of the Museum of Fine Arts : musical shows, ping-pong tables, pennant-making workshop, toy flea market.

Unpacking of traders and giant picnic

This festive day will also be an opportunity for traders to showcase their products. So, from 10 a.m., they will their unpacking on the sidewalks rue Gambetta, des Dominicains, du Pont Mouja and Saint-Nicolas.

The day will end arounda giant picnic with tables set up in the streets of Pont-Mouja and Saint-Nicolas. Hosted by Vince and his live Jukebox show, you can enjoy neighborhood restaurants like Pickles or Bagelstein.
