Bundesliga. Bayer Leverkusen players received their championship rings after a record season

Crowned German champion for the first time in its history, Bayer Leverkusen struck a major blow by ending the season without having experienced the slightest defeat. After the match won against Augsburg (2-1), the new kings of Germany were able to lift their coronation trophy, in front of their supporters, and were presented with a ring set with diamonds.

A historic season, celebrated as it should be. On Saturday, Bayer Leverkusen punctuated its exceptional season in the league with a new success, against Augsburg (2-1), thus becoming the first club in the history of the Bundesliga to complete a financial year without the slightest defeat.

A ring set with diamonds

A rare performance, obviously synonymous with a title, the team’s very first.

After lifting the champion trophy in front of their audience, the players received a nice gift. Author of a remarkable season, like the rest of his team, the young Dutch international Jérémie Frimpong offered his teammates rings to celebrate their coronation.

Adorned with 120 white diamonds and surrounded by 42 colored precious stones, these jewels reflect the club’s year: exceptional.
