The historian Geneviève Bührer-Thierry, a specialist in royal power in the early Middle Ages, was particularly leaning over this mythical figure. She takes stock of the knowledge relating to this character who has crystallized many fantasies. Fictionalized scenes, commented by actor Tomer Sisley, make the researchers’ work accessible.
