An accident involving a heavy goods vehicle took place this morning of October 10 on the N12, the 4 lanes which connects Rennes to Saint-Brieuc. The accident occurred at 10:40 a.m. near Saint-Jouan-de-l’Isle (Côtes-d’Armor), in the direction of Saint-Brieuc/Rennes. The N12 was cut from the Kergouët interchange and a diversion put in place by agents of the Interdepartmental Direction of Western Roads who had to secure the accident area.
The only one involved
The diversion route took the secondary network towards Rennes and users find the N12 via the Saint-Jouan-de-l’Isle interchange.
According to the firefighters, the heavy goods vehicle was the only one involved and the driver was not injured.
The 4 lanes remained closed while the truck was lifted.
At 2 p.m., nearly 5.5 km of traffic jams were recorded after Broons.
