Lhe Red Devils were once again very visible this weekend, on the lawns of foreign championships.

In Serie A, Charles De Ketelare continues his good season with Atalanta by scoring a double against Romelu Lukaku’s AS Roma. In 45 matches in all competitions, he scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists. And he could even end the season by lifting a trophy since Atalanta is in the final of the Europa League. This will require getting rid of the unbeatable Bayer Leverkusen on May 22.

As for the Premier League, the fight for the title is in full swing. And at the heart of this duel, two Red Devils. On one side, Kevin De Bruyne who provided an assist during Manchester City’s 0-4 victory at Fulham. His total assists in the Premier League rise to 111, making him the 2nd best assist giver in the English championship, tied with Cesc Fabregas. With two more matches this season, KDB could well take this place alone during this week. To climb to the top, it seems more complicated since on the first step sits Ryan Giggs with 162 assists.

On the other side, there is Leandro Trossard whose only goal against Manchester United allows Arsenal to temporarily regain the lead in the championship with 86 points, one unit more than the Cityzens, but also one more match. The Devil has been in great form in recent weeks, with 5 goals in 7 matches. Over the season, Trossard has scored 12 goals in the Premier League and provided one assist.

Another Red Devil in great form is Dries Mertens, who is shining this season with Galatasaray. So much so that the 37-year-old is the best decisive passer of the season in the ten biggest championships! With 18 assists in the Süper Lig, Mertens is ahead of Cameron Puertas who has 16 with the Union and Alejandro Grimaldo who has delivered 14 with Bayer Lervekusen. He delivered his 18th assist against Karagumruk this Sunday, in addition to scoring a goal in this 2-3 victory.

Just as in England, the race for the title in Turkey involves two Belgians since the Gala of Dries Mertens (1st, 99 points) fights with the Fenerbahçe (2nd, 93 points) of Michy Batshuayi. The latter was also decisive by scoring in the 3-0 success against Kayserispor.

Finally in France, Orel Mangala gave Lyon a 0-1 victory during their trip to Clermont. It’s his first goal of the season.
