Kate Middleton’s husband was visiting St Mary’s Community Hospital on the Isles of Scilly when Tracy Smith, head of hospital administration, asked him about the princess’s health: “Can I ask you how How’s Princess Kate? »

“She is fine,” replied Prince William soberly. He added that their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were “very jealous” of his trip.

“My family is very upset that I am here without her. The kids will kill me if I don’t come home later,” he said with a laugh.

“He would love to see that happen.”

Tracy Smith later confirmed: “I asked how Princess Kate and the kids were doing, and said I hoped they had a good time here over the summer. He replied that he would very much like to see that happen. »

Prince William then bought five traditional Cornish pasties from a local cafe, and raved about their delicious smell.

The Princess of Wales has not been seen in public since announcing her illness diagnosis in a video in March. Aged 42, Kate Middleton is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer, the nature of which has not been revealed.
