But according to our colleagues from Nieuwsblad, the cyclist, an 85-year-old, died from his injuries. “The police received confirmation on Saturday evening of the victim’s death,” writes the Nieuwsblad.
According to Antwerp, it was an “unfortunate accident”, and the player, on loan from AS Monaco, would be “very affected by the events”.
