A fire broke out this morning, Saturday May 11, in the Côte Sauvage campsite, in Le Croisic (Loire-Atlantique), avenue de la Pierre-Longue. According to initial information, the fire started in a storage building containing three charging electric carts, various household products and a laundry room.

A strong release of smoke

A strong release of smoke required the evacuation of forty-three occupantsspecifies the departmental fire and rescue operational center. A victim, slightly intoxicated, was treated by emergency services.

On site for several hours, the thirty-five fire professionals used two hoses to extinguish the fire. For its part, Enedis cut off electricity to the entire site.
