Lévignac. With the media library, read and share your readings

Almost every month of the year, the municipal media library organizes a reading workshop in the premises of the old Lévignac station. These workshops, open free to all, include the reading during the previous month of one or more works chosen by the members of the reading circle on a particular theme. On the day of the reading circle, this or these works are commented on with Malie Daubiné, associate professor, speaker at the media library, specialist in ancient and modern literature. The next literary workshop will take place at the media library on Tuesday May 21 at 9:30 a.m., around the representation of madness in literature. “Three very clever fictions will make you sink into the throes of doubt, reality or madness?: The Turn of the Screw by Heny James (1898), The Turtles by Loys Masson (1956) and The Prisoner of Sargasso by Jean Rhys (1966) “, indicates Hélène Silbermann, head of the Lévignac Media Library. In an eco-citizen approach, it is possible to obtain these second-hand titles at a very low price, in particular from Recyclivre* or Label Emmaüs** but also by borrowing the few copies available at the Media Library.

The literary meetings at the Lévignac media library are open to everyone, in a spirit of simplicity and conviviality.
