Friday May 10, around 10:30 p.m., the Franche-Comté sky was adorned with pink, blue and green. Northern lights lit up the skies of Jura, Doubs and Haute-Saône. The first photographs were relayed by Ilyes Ghouil, weather enthusiast and founder of the Facebook page “Météo Franc-comtoise.” Several dozen Internet users then added their photos in comments. Photos taken from Conflandey in Haute-Saône, Moirans-en-Montagne or even from Thise, in Doubs.
