After winning and winning ABBA, we found out about the Alcazar pop group on the final podium of the 68th Eurovision Song Festival.
Vrijdagmiddag werd aangekondigd dat Alcazar als interval act zal optreden. De band est niet meer bij elkaar, maar keert terug voor het Songfestival.
Hierdoor staan ze ondanks verschillende eerdere pogingen toch op het Songfestivalpodium. Alcazar nam al vijf maal deel aan Melodifestivalenfrom Zweedse preselectie, maar wist of voorronde nooit te winnen.
‘Feestelijke sfeer’
Alcázar zal optreden tussen deelnemende landen en het bekendmaken van de resultaten. Producer Per Blankens licht toe: ‘Als er iemand is die de feestelijke sfeer We will be created in the Malmö Arena at the 50th anniversary Waterloo you live, dan is het Alcazar.
