This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Thomas Ramos annoying his opponents. During the first match against Harlequins in the group stage in December, Stade Toulousain crushed the English.

However, at the end of the match, they seemed as irritated by the attitude of Thomas Ramos as by the scoreboard which showed 19-47. For good reason, the latter played opener and engaged in a nice game of “chambering” with Marcus Smith, his counterpart.

A video sequence then ignited social networks, where we could see the Toulouse player pushing Smith’s head into the pitch at Twickenham Stoop. Some even went so far as to think that the latter was going to be cited by the disciplinary committee.

For the semi-final, Ramos was this time on the finishers’ bench, but still made a name for himself. In the second period, the latter looked very agitated and did not fail to upset the Londoners. So much so, that Joe Marler sent his best shot to the back of the Toulouse man’s head.

A light A scuffle then broke out between a few players, with the back of the XV of France in the middle. Result of the races, after the referee watched the video, the penalty in favor of the Quins at the start of the action was returned… Not enough to help the latter’s irritation.

After the meeting, center André Esterhuizen spoke about the Frenchman, and it doesn’t seem like the two are going on vacation together in July: He’s the most annoying guy I’ve ever met on the pitch.” (RugbyPass), told the South African at a press conference.

One thing is certain, Ramos has this ability to get into the heads of his opponents, to the point of thwarting them. A useful quality to tip the scales, but which does not please everyone…
