A fire broke out a little before 8:30 p.m. in an apartment, in Bihorel, Thursday May 9, 2024, mobilizing emergency services for more than two hours.

When the firefighters arrived, the fire was in an apartment on the ground floor, in the Les Ormes building, rue des Anémones, located in the Chapter district. The tenant had already evacuated the accommodation.

All the residents of the said building were treated by emergency services, but no transport to the hospital center was necessary.

Around thirty firefighters and twelve engines were deployed on site. The fire was quickly brought under control. However, the ground floor apartment suffered significant damage.

The other floors were spared the flames, but the smoke invaded the stairwell, requiring the rehousing of all the residents, i.e. 13 people, including seven by the municipality.
