Omar and Hélène Sy have been a solid couple for more than two decades. A love story that will lead to a marriage and the birth of five children.
Present since the beginning, Hélène Sy has always supported her husband in his career. The two lovebirds met in 1998 through Hélène’s roommate and mutual friend of the two future lovers. Love at first sight strikes instantly between them: “At that moment, I recognize someone I have never seen in my life. It’s quite crazy to say to yourself: “I know you from tomorrow,” recalls Omar Sy on the set of “Clique” last April. On July 6, 2007, the couple decided to get married in Tremblay-sur-Mauldre in Yvelines. Together they started their own family. This romance will give birth to five children: Selly, born in 2001, Sabah in 2003, Tidiane, born in 2006, Alhadji born in 2009 and Amani-Nour, born in 2017.

A true pillar for the actor, Hélène Sy has always been there for Omar, allowing him to achieve as an actor. The Sy family has today settled down in Los Angeles. A life choice which forces the actor to be absent numerous times for his career. Absences well experienced by the actor’s children thanks to his wife. He explains on the set of Clique: “The luck I have with Hélène is that she takes it very well and she fills in very well with the children. »

Who is Hélène Sy?
Hélène Sy is a young woman born in 1979. It was at the age of 19 that her life changed when she met her future husband and father of her children, the famous comedian and actor Omar Sy. The latter, who moved to the United States in 2012, combines her family life with her investment in charitable life. Indeed, Hélène founded the association “CeKeDuBonheur” of which she now serves as president. This association aims to improve the daily lives of hospitalized children. At the same time, the latter is godmother of a child in Niger and supports numerous NGOs.
