Last night, the French actor died at the age of 72. Jean-Claude Tupin, the “mister cinema” from Vesoul, regrets this disappearance “of a sacred monster”.

The actor Michel Blanc died in the night from Thursday to Friday in hospital at the age of 72. In Vesoul, the founder of the Le Majestic cinema, Jean-Claude Tupin, learned of his disappearance on social networks. He testifies to our editorial staff. “When I heard of his death, I was shocked. Michel Blanc had come to Compiègne in one of my cinemas to present a film with his teams. I keep the memory of a nice guy who didn’t run after people. people.” He continues: “He was discreet and with the film “Les Bronzés”, he had become an institution”.

The actor often associated with his character of Jean-Claude Dusse from “Bronzés” had played an author’s role in “Les petits victories”, released in theaters in 2023. Jean-Claude Tupin says he was moved by his interpretation at this moment. “He was touching in this role. He was a complete actor who could have played all the roles. We are losing a sacred monster of cinema,” he concludes.

In 2012, Michel Blanc won the César for best supporting actor for “The Exercise of the State”.
