Each member of the team, composed of Veton Isufi, Arnaud Ostiguy and Jhonatan Veloza, received an amount of $1000 offered by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), free registration at the International Forum Science and Society offered by the Association francophone pour le savoir, a 3D modeling of their machine by Creaform as well as a visit to an installation of a member company of the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ).

With the theme Arm wrestling, the challenge for this edition was to build a machine capable of competing against an opposing machine in a tug-of-war event using only gravitational potential energy. More than 250 spectators were treated to original and ingenious performances, while witnessing the creativity and precision of the participating teams. In addition to having to apply scientific and technical concepts, the finalists were called upon to popularize the different concepts used to the members of the jury and to the public who came to encourage them.
