Onet-le-Château. Second Act: the last day of the festival will be busy but promising

The Second Act festival will take place at the La Baleine theater from Thursday May 23 to Saturday May 25. A highlight of sharing and discovery, thanks to a rigorous and subtle selection, this artistic event attracts a large audience who discover the most beautiful companies in Occitania. This year again, amateur actors will share their passions with you, in their respective worlds. A look back at the last day which, in addition to the evening organized at Krill and the announcement of the results, will offer the public two unmissable posters.

Focus on the first piece which will be performed by the troupe Le Maringouin (near Lille), which also won first prize at the Tours festival this year. It’s a particularly scathing comedy of manners written and directed by Adélaïde Carolus. “1970” is the story of two twins Juliette and Maxime (1970 being their year of birth), who following the death of their mother, find themselves in the family apartment, in order to prepare the funeral and empty places. Memories come to the surface. As they dig, secrets splash in the faces of the twins who only have their date of birth in common. Which family doesn’t hide its share of secrets? What are the consequences on our daily lives? It’s time for Juliette and Maxime to face their reality, as well as their lies…
