A second gold medal! Apprentice in 2e year in metalwork and locksmithing in the Frémont company, in Sallertaine (Vendée), alternating at the Tabarly high school in Sables-d’Olonne, Carl Bonneau was in his 2e participation. Already gold medal in 2023 during its 1D year of apprenticeship, he is a gold medalist again in 2024. “I loved watching my dad weld in his garage. He’s the one who gave me a taste for working with metal.”explains the young man.

After the request for participation at the end of 2023, the apprentices receive the detailed plan of the part to be produced. This year, it was a mirror surround which took him 150 hours of work.

In June, Carl will pass his baccalaureate as an industrial boilermaker technician. “My goal is then to obtain a BTS in industrial boilermaking design”he confides. “Carl is an excellent student, very talented in welding, diligent and meticulous, both at school and at work”underlines his master who imagines a promising future for his student.
