This Saturday afternoon, around 1:30 p.m., a serious car accident occurred near Square Jules De Trooz and Avenue de la Reine in Laeken. According to the firefighters and the Brussels Capital/Ixelles police zone, several people were injured.

Several cars were involved, including a minibus from the police zone which was traveling on Avenue de la Reine to go to Laeken. The other vehicle came from the Quai des Factories and was going to the center. A pickup truck rolled over and ended up on its side. Following the impact, numerous debris littered the ground. the roadway was temporarily closed to traffic.
14 people who were in the police minibus were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The two occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to hospital with serious injuries. “However, their lives would not be in danger,” the police zone explains to us.
The Brussels North Police zone is on site to carry out the findings. the victim assistance office is also on site.
