Poundland issues urgent recall of popular children’s product over ‘serious chemical risk’

Poundland’s owner, PepCo, has issued a serious health alert concerning one of its children’s products, urging purchasers for an immediate recall. The product in question is a range of lively colored pencils showcased in tubes, featuring well-recognized figures like Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Spider Man and Star Wars.

PepCo highlighted the reason behind the recall as being linked to “a chemical testing failure”. They stated: “Poundland is enacting a recall of various Pepco Licensed Coloring Pencils in tube due to a chemical testing failure.”

Consumers who have bought the said product have been urged not to use it, but rather return to any Poundland store for a full refund, with no proof of purchase necessary.
