After Michelet College in April, Marcel-Gambier will in turn experience a “white day”. To protest against the “clash of knowledge” reform, mathematics and French teachers have warned that they will not teach classes on May 17, 2024. They invite parents of students not to send their child to class that day -there, “as a sign of support”.

This contested reform provides in particular for the creation of level groups in French and mathematics for the 6e and the 5efrom the start of the 2024 school year. “It is not with this type of measure that we will improve the much-maligned general level of students, write the teachers.
