Nearly 165 Saint-Gaudinois students gathered yesterday for a series of fun activities. The goal: to create cohesion.

There was commotion yesterday morning in front of the monument of the three marshals. A little over 150 students gathered there for the launch of an integration day. All the post-baccalaureate sectors of Saint-Gaudens were gathered: the BTS students at the Casteret high school, at the Calpus agricole, at the Bagatelle and Mathou high schools, as well as the future nurses from the IFSI, the students from the connected campus and the CFAs in BP JEPS (sports instructor). The day is organized by the Sup’Comminges collective, driven by elected official Marie-Pierre Biteau. For one day, the students are mixed and divided into several groups for fun and sporting activities. A moment that allows you to meet students outside of your class. “I was able to exchange my contacts on social networks with people in my group” says Maélia, a student at IFSI. Zaïa, in BTS at Lyée Bagatelle, did an activity at the Azimut social center and admits to being surprised. “I’m from Saint-Gaudens and yet I discovered things about the activities that we can do here.” Mixing groups and offering student life to your students is one of the objectives of this day. A youth who brings “dynamism” to the city according to its mayor Jena-Yves Duclos. “Days like this show that we don’t have to go far to study, that we can do it here in Comminges.” Indeed, thanks to the connected campus, Commingeois can follow the courses of the majority of French universities remotely. “Honestly, we should do days like this more often” concludes Amélie, a student at IFSI.
