the essential
This Thursday, May 2, Valoris Ressourcesrie and Bouchons d’Amour came together to set up a convention. This signature between Guy Marquillie, national and Gers president of Bouchons d’Amours and Bérangère Chambon, president of Valoris Ressourcerie, aims to expand the collection of plastic caps.

This Thursday, May 2, Les Bouchons d’Amours and Valoris Ressourcesrie met to sign an agreement. This association aims to increase the collection of corks in the Gers.

Love caps is a voluntary association, which collects, sorts and sells plastic caps or lids to finance equipment for disabled people, while supporting associations such as the French disabled sports and disabled dog federation.

Valoris Ressourcerie in Auch offers a professional integration path to its employees by supporting them in their return to employment, while promoting the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste.

The economic benefits

All the corks collected are purchased by the SULO company, which manufactures 70% of the trash cans in France. With this money, the association helps people with disabilities, in particular by purchasing equipment, “anything to improve the living conditions of disabled people”, explains Guy Marquillie. The love caps also help the disabled association.

“We help the disabled sports clubs and committees which collect for us,” explains Guy Marquillie. “Currently, we are in loss,” admits Guy Marquillie. “It’s because of the corks now often attached to the bottle: you have the right to tear them off!”, he insists.

One of the two sponsors, Paulin Riva, captain of the French rugby sevens team, was present. “I really support the association, I hope there will be a good harvest, because we need it,” he concludes.
