Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau visited Philippine’s family this Tuesday, October 1. The student was found dead this Saturday, September 21, in the de Boulogne.

The meeting took place this Tuesday, October 1, in the afternoon, just after Bruno Retailleau went to the National Assembly for Michel Barnier’s general policy declaration. The minister went to Montigny-le-Bretonneux (), to the home of the victim’s family.

“Develop our legal arsenal”

After this murder which aroused strong emotion, the new minister had communicated in recent days his desire to “evolve our legal arsenal”, while the main suspect arrested in Switzerland was under an obligation to leave the territory French and was convicted of rape in 2022.
