But where can we get the best brioche in Seine-et-Marne?

The jury of the Maison de la Boulangerie-Pâtisserie de Seine-et-Marne decided on Tuesday April 30, 2024.

The winners of the 1st departmental competition for the best brioche in Seine et Marne are : Lhas House Kertel in Mareuil-lès-Meaux (traditional brioche category), the Parc Bakery in Chelles (puff brioche category) and Lucas Mochado Dos Reis from the Chelles Gambetta Bakery in Chelles (apprentice category).

How did they decide between them? Based on several criteria: appearance, the cookingthe smell, taste and the crumb (which should resemble a bee cell) for a total of 100 points. The brioche must have weighed between 200 and 400 grams.
