In his speech, Chairman of the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Anh Tuan congratulated Germany on its recorded achievements, demonstrating its leading role in the European Union (EU). .
Nguyen Anh Tuan said the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City constantly strives to cooperate with the German Consulate General in the southern megacity and German partners to establish ties and consultations. in terms of management, technology transfer as well as charitable projects to contribute to friendly relations and understanding between the two peoples.
The Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City pledged to coordinate closely with the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and actively participate in joint events between the two countries at the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 2025 to strengthen traditional friendship and strategic partnership.
For her part, Josefine Wallat, Consul General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City, shared the historical significance of German Unity Day 34 years ago, ushering in an impressive period of development for reunified Germany .
