The term reveals Jerusalem’s desire to reshape the Middle East in its own right, one year after the October 7 pogrom. The ambition is legitimate, since the issue is the long-term survival of the Jewish State. Is it, however, feasible? How far can Israel transform the region to guarantee its insertion there?
