A volunteer with many hats, Dominique Perrin did not expect such a distinction. Invited on Wednesday September 25 to participate in a meeting in Joinville of the Haut-Marne delegation of the Red Cross, Jean Lauvergeat (its provisional administrator) presented him, in the name of the national president, with the large gold medal of this association. humanitarian aid.
This distinction is well deserved when we know that Dominique Perrin has been an active member since 1is June 1970. First by joining the Joinville branch as a first aid worker then by becoming (for 40 years) facilitator of training courses for the general public and in companies then local director of first aid teams. His promotion to the position of deputy director of territorial delegation 52 also gave him the opportunity to participate in several national congresses.
Although having retired as a first aid trainer, this volunteer, already on the Red Cross honor roll (testimony of recognition, bronze, silver and vermeil medals) remains active within the Joinville delegation. For 7 years, he has supported Elisabeth Pertat who leads the local team in social action and food distribution.
Other distinctions
An active member of the Vallage Blood Donors Association since its creation in 1976, Dominique Perrin (with more than 200 donations) is a blood merit officer.
In a military capacity for 40 years of active reserve, he is an officer of the National Order of Merit.
