“You didn’t deserve this.”

Christophe Marchais, the father of the victim, describes who his son was. “My Cat, my big otter, you didn’t deserve that… Nobody deserves that. You were a real nice guy, ready to do anything for your friends, even if it meant alienating your parents.”wrote the grieving man.

Matisse was a teenager “full of humor, even black humor”, “a super nice little kid”“merry and and that “loved everyone”confided his father during an interview broadcast on 3 Center Val-de-.

Like many other teenagers his age, Matisse loved football and had been playing for several years at L’Étoile, a neighborhood club in Châteauroux. Christophe Marchais remembers “those 15 wonderful years” with his son and recounts several everyday scenes.

“You will no longer poke me in the ribs from behind to annoy me, I will no longer see you stop by the restaurant just for a kiss, I won’t wake you up in the morning again when your alarm clock has been annoying everyone for 30 minutes, but you’re snoring”he declared on his Facebook page.

“I hope that justice will be done”

Following the murder of his son, Matisse’s father hopes thatteenager indicted will be heavily sanctioned. “I’m sorry, but even if it was a 15 year old kid, there’s no excuse for that. Going home to stab someone, especially a friend you’ve been hanging out with for a few weeks, is is not possible”he protested.

“This horror happened very quickly, you didn’t suffer too muchhe hopes by describing as “animals” those who attacked Matisse, a son and his mother” confided Christophe before adding: “I hope that justice will be done, that it will not be too lax, that it will be as much as possible.”

In the speech of Matisse’s father shared on Facebook, the latter calls on parents to “watch their children, because life is fragile”. Christophe Marchais also warns far-right politics : “I don’t want anyone to take ownership of Matou’s death. I don’t want people to step up to the plate – we know who’s going to do it – because he was an Afghan.”he assured.
