From Thursday April 25 to Sunday April 28, 2,937 students from 21 architecture schools in France gathered in the Saint‐Georges and Jean-Leroi Sports complexes in Blois. An annual competition during which women’s and men’s teams from different schools come together and compete in a spirit of sharing, sport and celebration through nine sports.
This year, the Bordeaux National School of Architecture and Landscape (Ensap Bx) in Talence won the 9th edition of these Archipiades, organized by the Sports Federation of Architecture Schools (FSEA). A new victory for the Bordeaux establishment, which won its first star at home in 2022 (Colette-Besson sports plain) during the 7th Archipiades.
Each establishment presented a female and male team per sporting discipline: handball, rugby, football, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball and relay. The winning school is the one which has accumulated the most points across all sports. Bordeaux was represented by 168 students.
