Many young people have been at the heart of incidents involving bladed weapons over the past 48 hours in France. One of them was caught with a butcher’s sheet in class, while others actually took action in Maubeuge or in Canteleu, near Rouen.

A slew of attacks. In the last 48 hours, several stabbing attacks have occurred in France and have been increasing for several weeks. In addition to Matisse (15 years old), killed by several stab wounds in Châteauroux last Saturday, another teenager, 14 years old this time, was injured in the throat and stomach in Maubeuge, in the North on Tuesday. According to information from Europe 1, he was stabbed twice by another 16-year-old boy. For the moment, it is impossible to determine the reasons for this action, but it is clearly an altercation.

A student surprised with a butcher’s sheet in class

Also on Tuesday, a 14-year-old minor was also attacked with a knife late in the afternoon in Canteleu, near Rouen. Injured on the public highway, the victim explained that she had been stabbed from behind, without giving further details. On the run, the attacker is actively sought.

Finally, in Paris, at the René-Cassin high school, a student was surprised in class by a teacher with a butcher’s sheet. The police intervened and the student explained that he was being harassed by other teenagers when he left school and that he had taken this weapon to defend himself from these attacks which affect young people a lot, even the very young.
