An accident occurred near Morlaix, in Garlan (Finistère), Saturday September 28, 2024, shortly before 6 p.m., on the D786, at a place called Kerjean, in an intersection.
A motorcyclist traveling in the Lanmeur – Morlaix direction, and a vehicle traveling on the other axis, arriving from Plouezoc’h, collided.
Driver of vehicle taken to hospital
The motorcyclist, born in 1977, from Lanmeur, died on the spot, despite the intervention of the firefighters. The driver of the vehicle, very shocked, was transported to the Pays de Morlaix hospital center. The gendarmes of the Plourin-lès-Morlaix company were also present. The Diro (Western interdepartmental roads directorate) closed the road for around two hours, the duration of the intervention.
