On the occasion of the second edition of There’s Joy Day, many activities will be offered to seniors. Visit to the Brissac-Quincé fish farming center in the morning, followed by a meal, before a digestive walk to discover the village of Luigné, the church and the fountain of Saint-Avertin dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. Then, it will be time to have fun with the wooden games of Jokanim who will liven up the session.
And as if to justify the name that the municipal social action center (CCAS) gives to these days, Y a de la Joie, the day will end in song with karaoke.
“These actions are the result of reflection by volunteers representative of the vast territory of our commune, who decided to schedule three meetings in three different villages this year. The first is set for Luigné on May 22. In September, Y a de la Joie day will be held in Chemellier. Then, in November, at Saulgé-l’Hôpital. For this second edition, the target audience is the same as last year, namely 60-year-old seniors, their spouses and their grandchildren, with a single motto: sharing in conviviality. explains Mathilde Cornu, director of CCAS.
