Scholengroep KOGEKA (Katholiek Onderwijs Geel-Kasterlee) viert dit schooljaar haar 25-jarig bestaan. KOGEKA was born in 1999 at the same time as the new schoolchildren: from the Schools of the Year, from the Schools of Huldenberg, from the Schools of the Vorselaar, from Antwerp to the Sint-Jozefscholen. As we begin with new samenwerking, it is in middels uitgegroeid tot een scholengemeenschap met een eigen onderwijsvisie: LED-leren, een eigentijds en duurzaam leerconcept. KOGEKA offers a wide range of studies and trots in the tradition of Europe’s own programs and training courses.
Het aantal leerlingen in de secundarie school groeide de fgelopen 25 aar met 500, in sinds enkele jaren maakt ook de basisschool Sint Dimpna Geel met dan dan 500 leerlingen deel uit van de scholengroep. This is where KOGEKA is located in 5300 Leerlingen, where it is located in Geel and Kasterlee.
